SHANGHAI (March 30, 2011)—ExxonMobil Chemical Co. officially has opened its Shanghai Technology Center.
The $90 million facility in Shanghai's Zizhu Science-Based Industrial Parkwill help the firm work more closely with its Asian customers on products tailored for the local market, said Will Cirioli, vice president, global technology, for ExxonMobil Chemical,'
The facility contains analytical and testing laboratory equipment and commercial-scale product processing equipment, including blown and cast film extrusion, injection molding, compounding and packaging, ExxonMobil Chemical said.
