LEVERKUSEN, Germany (March 23, 2011)—Lanxess A.G. plans to increase its prices 15-25 percent worldwide for rubber chemicals, effective April 1.
This is primarily in response to steeply rising raw material costs, the company said.
The price increase affects almost the entire product range of antioxidants (Vulkanox, Vulkazon), accelerators (Vulkacit) and specialty chemicals (e.g. Renacit, Cohedur, Perkalink, Vulcuren etc.) The percentage of the increase will depend on the product and region, Lanxess said.
