MILAN, Italy (Feb. 23, 2011)—Pirelli Tyre S.p.A. is raising car and light truck tire prices 5 percent on April 1 and motorcycle tire prices 3 percent on March 1 in the U.S.
The company cited “increasing raw material costs, in particular natural rubber” for the increases.
Pirelli last raised consumer tire prices in North America on Dec. 1, by up to 7 percent, and prior to that on July 1, by 4 percent.
