LOUDON, Tenn. (Feb. 7, 2011)—The Polyurethane Foam Association is seeking proposals for technical presentations for the PFA General Business Meeting and Technical Program, May 18-19.
Deadline for proposals is Feb. 25.
The association is looking for technical papers summarizing recent research and product development, field studies, innovations in formulation or production technology and new equipment related to the processing of flexible polyurethane foam, as well as papers on product sustainability and environmental issues.
Papers must have a non-commercial focus and specifically address topics related to slabstock or molded flexible polyurethane production in North America, according to the PFA.
A maximum of eight presentations, each 30 minutes in length, will be scheduled for the May meeting.
A short summary of the intended content must be submitted with the request to make a presentation.
The presentations will be scored to compete for a $500 Technical Excellence Award provided by the Herman Stone Family Endowment.
