AKRON (Feb. 3, 2011) — Goodyear is raising prices on all consumer tires in North America by up to 6 percent, effective March 1.
Goodyear cited rising raw material prices as the reason for increasing tire prices. The action affects all Goodyear passenger and light truck tire brands—Goodyear, Dunlop, Kelly and associate brands.
The company last raised consumer tire prices on Oct. 1, 2010, also by up to 6 percent.
