WYANDOTTE, Mich. (Jan. 26, 2011)—BASF Corp. plans to hike prices on Elastollan TPU products in North America on Feb. 14 or as contracts allow.
The company did provide price increase figures.
The increase is to ensure reliability of supply, support future levels of investment and help recover a small portion of rising raw material costs, BASF said.
It said the price hike was necessary to sustain the firm's current level of quality and service.
