FULLERTON, Calif. (Jan. 17, 2011)—Yokohama Tire Corp. has named Dan King senior vice president of sales and marketing, and promoted seven other executives.
King, who has been with the company 22 years, previously was vice president resident, sales and marketing.
The other promotions are: Thomas Masuguchi, to vice president and controller from controller; John Cooney, to director of export from director of commercial sales, responsible for developing Yokohama's sales, operations and brand strategies for consumer and commercial export; Rick Phillips, to director of commercial sales from manager of commercial sales, succeeding Cooney; Minoru “Mike” Nakayama, to chief adviser, corporate strategy and product planning, with an emphasis on consumer tires and motorsports; Alan Easome, to director, supply chain planning from manager, supply chain planning; Percy Cottle, to zone manager, export from district sales manager, export; and Andrew Briggs, to senior manager of motorsports from account manager.
