LAKE FOREST, Ill. (Dec. 7, 2010)—Automotive supplier Tenneco Inc. is providing emission and ride control technologies for the Micra and March models of Nissan Motor Co. Ltd.'s new global compact car.
Tenneco said it is supplying shock absorbers and exhaust systems for Yokohama, Japan-based Nissan's vehicles based on design and development from Tenneco engineering centers in Asia, Europe and North America.
The company is supplying the platform from new manufacturing plants in Chennai, India; Guangzhou, China; Chonburi, Thailand; and an expanded plant in Hosur, India.

Lake Forest-based Tenneco makes and markets emission control and ride control products and systems for the automotive OE market and aftermarket principally under the Monroe, Walker, Gillet and CleviteElastomer brand names.
