NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Nov. 1, 2010)—Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations is hiking prices up to 8 percent in the U.S., effective today, across several of its divisions, including consumer replacement and original equipment, truck and bus, agricultural and OTR tires.
The Nashville-based tire maker said the increases are on its Bridgestone, Firestone and associate brand passenger, light truck, medium truck, bus, agricultural and off-road tires.
The company cited ongoing cost increases for energy, transportation and raw materials as the cause of the price hike.
