TRENTON, N.J. (Oct. 7, 2010)—H.M. Royal Inc. will host a seminar Oct. 27 on CALGreen, the mandatory environmental building code that becomes effective in California Jan. 1.
The event will be held at the Holiday Inn in Buena Park, Calif.
Presenters will be Dave Wells, executive director of the California Building Standards Commission, and Doug Hensel, assistant deputy director of the California Department of Housing and Community Development Division of Codes and Standards.
The seminar will discuss the impact of CALGreen on manufacturing, transportation and disposal of construction materials used in California.
“We want to provide not only education to the manufacturers in California but also tangible solutions to help them meet the requirements of the new CALGreen Standards,” said H.M. Royal President Joe Royal.
