TIANJIN, China (Sept. 29, 2010)—BASF S.E.'s polyurethanes division is building a systems unit in Jianjin China, which will be operational by 2012.
The German company already has in China a systems unit in Chongqing and system houses and development centers in Shanghai and Nansha. That gives the firm a service network extending to all geographical corners of the nation, BASF said.
The company signed an agreement for the project with a delegation from Tianjin's government that came to BASF's Ludwigshafen, Germany, headquarters.
