Before buying a tire or tire related product fleets usually insist upon testing to determine if the product will run well on theirs specific vehicles and in their operations. But running tire tests is very difficult for all fleets to conduct especially larger size fleets. It requires a great deal of concerted effort for many of them simply to find the vehicles with the test tires. Then it demands considerable labor to take tire tread depth measurements and to record the findings. Once the test is over someone has to analyze the data and compute the results. All in all it takes a fleet a lot time, attention, and money to run a tire test.
