FINDLAY, Ohio (Sept. 8, 2010) — Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. has renewed its agreement with ABC TV to sponsor the network's College Football Halftime Show, marking the fourth straight season for the “Cooper Tire Halftime Show” on ABC, ESPN and ESPN2.
Dave Craig, Cooper's director of channel and consumer development, said Cooper has had “tremendous success” with the halftime show for the past three years without citing specifics.
The 2010 version of the show runs through mid-October, Cooper said.
The sponsorship will feature the Cooper logo in a number of prominent locations, including opening and closing graphics and on-set signage. The halftime show brings viewers the latest scores, game previews and expert analysis.
In addition to the halftime show, Cooper is again running its Cooper Tire Ultimate Bowl Tour, a contest that awards the winner and three guests the opportunity to attend five bowl games—the Rose Bowl, Orange Bowl, Sugar Bowl, Cotton Bowl and the National Championship game—at Cooper's expense.
