LANGLEY, British Columbia (Aug. 31, 2010)—Yokohama Tire (Canada) Inc. has named Eric Dedoyard, a 17-year veteran with the company, president, replacing Alec Pigulevsky, who retired earlier this year.
Dedoyard, 45, most recently was vice president and chief operating officer of the Langley-based subsidiary of Japan's Yokohama Rubber Co. Ltd. Before that he was director of sales. He started with the firm as a territory manager.
He will divide his time between Yokohama Canada offices in Montreal and Toronto and the corporate headquarters in Langley. His appointment was effective July 1.
Yokohama Tire (Canada) maintains distribution centers across Canada to serve more than 700 independent tire dealers with more than 2,000 retail locations.
