HOUSTON (Aug. 5, 2010)—Dow Chemical Co., which makes EP and EPDM elastomers, has been elected as the newest member of the International Institute of Synthetic Rubber Producers.
Luis Cirihal, Dow global business director, will be the firm's director representative to the IISRP, with Global Product Director Barton Bowser serving as alternate.
“We are very pleased Dow Chemical has rejoined our membership,” said IISRP Managing Director James McGraw. Dow previously was a member through its European operations of the BR and SBR business that was spun off, later sold and now is known as Styron L.L.C.
