FULLERTON, Calif. (July 2, 2010)—Yokohama Tire Corp. has reshuffled its senior management in the wake of Jim MacMaster's retirement as the company's executive vice president and chief operating officer.
Changes include expanding the responsibilities of Dan King, vice president of sales and marketing, to include corporate strategy and planning; promoting Gary Nash to vice president, off-the-road division; and naming Yukio Kuroda to oversee technical services and product liability.
King will oversee marketing, consumer sales, commercial sales and corporate strategy and planning.
Nash, a 44-year OTR industry veteran, joined Yokohama in 1998 as director of the OTR division.
King, Nash and Kuroda will report directly to YTC President and CEO Takao Oishi.
Other related appointments include Naoki Takeda to chief financial officer; Kazuo Teramoto as chief technical adviser in the OTR division; and Takeshi Yoishikawa as chief adviser in the corporate strategy and planning.
