TOKYO (June 16, 2010)—Denka Kagaku Kogyo K.K. is raising the price of its polychloroprene rubber by $400 a metric ton.
The increase, across all overseas markets and end-users if the Japanese firm's CR, will take effect July 1 subject to applicable contracts. Denka last increase prices for the rubber in April.
The company blamed the increase on rising raw material costs.
