KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (April 14, 2010)—Malaysia produced 81,031 metric of natural rubber in February, up 12 percent on the same month a year ago but down 25 percent from January.
The country exported 65,296 ton in February, a 9.1-percent rise from the year earlier. The agency also said rubber prices continued to trend upward, rising 6.9 percent from January and 72.9 percent from February 2009.
