WAYNE, N.J. (April 7, 2010) — Hankook Tire America Corp. is increasing its ad spending by 50 percent in 2010, adding to its existing partnership with Major League Baseball and its returning “Great Catch” rebate and sweepstakes promotion.
Hankook advertises behind home plate at 11 MLB parks, and the success of this marketing initiative has led the company to integrate baseball into its spring promotions and general advertising message in cable television, consumer print and online banner advertising.
In addition, Hankook has launched its 2010 “Great Catch” spring mail-in rebate promotion, which offers consumers up to $50 in cash back rebates for purchasing sets of four Ventus V12 Evo, Ventus V4 ES or Optimo H727 tires between April 1 and May 31. Participants also have a chance to win a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro.
