PLYMOUTH, Minn.—ProMed Molded Products Inc. opened its doors in 1989 as a silicone molder, and the company has used its capabilities in that sector to expand into a successful medical industry supplier over the past two decades. But the firm's response to its customer base and willingness to diversify into other areas—some closely related to silicone molding, some not—have set it up for growth for the foreseeable future, its leaders say.
