FORT MILL, S.C. (Feb. 8, 2010)—Continental Tire the Americas L.L.C. is raising prices 4.5 percent on industrial tires in the U.S. and Canada, effective March 1 and 15, respectively.
Conti attributed the need for an increase to rising costs for raw materials, energy and transportation.
The increase includes the possibility of in-line adjustments, Conti said.
Orders recorded by Feb. 26 in the U.S. and March 12 in Canada and shipped by April 30 will benefit from price protection, the company said.
