HORGEN, Switzerland (Jan. 12, 2010)—Dow Europe will increase its prices for polyurethane raw materials in the Middle East, Africa and the Indian Subcontinent, effective Jan. 15, Dow said.
Prices for TDI (toluene diisocyanate) will increase by $250 per metric ton, and prices for flexible Polyols and MDI (methyl diphenyl diisocyanate) will increase by $150 per metric ton, the statement said.
The increases are necessary to keep business viable in the continued rise of feedstock and energy costs, according to the company.
