WAYNE, N.J. (Aug. 7, 2009)—Hankook Tire America Corp. has launched a redesigned Web site to deliver up-to-date information on its product line-up and enhance online customer service.
The upgraded site, at www.hankooktireusa.com, highlights international exhibition activities through various television ads and films that include video from the Specialty Equipment Market Association Show, Auto Beijing and Tokyo Auto Salon, according to the tire maker.
The site also features a new “Tire Finder” function “to help customers find the right tire for their vehicle and driving experience” and a one-stop tire registration process that allows Hankook customers to receive instant online mailings notifying them about promotions and events, the firm said. A Hankook dealer locator also is included on the site as well as a section where consumers can get answers to questions and assistance with purchase decisions.
Along with enhancements for consumers, Hankook said its site also will aid dealers, allowing them to continue “to have access to tools that help their business,” including the company's Web-based order tracking system.
The site also features a new motorsports section that will keep fans up to speed on Hankook's involvement with Formula Drift and Time Attack through online video, picture galleries, schedules and recaps of weekend events.
The site's “services and support” section features a new quality policy section and tire care guide on tire safety.
