BRICKENDONBURY, England (July 27, 2009)—Stuart Cook has been appointed director of research at the Tun Abdul Razak Research Centre, the United Kingdom-based laboratory of the Malaysian Rubber Board.
The appointment follows the retirement of Andrew Tinker in June.
Cook will be responsible for the research activities of the 80-plus scientific and support staff working in the laboratories at Hertford, just north of London.
Cook joined TARRC in 1987 after three years of teaching general science and chemistry.
