CLEVELAND (June 3, 2009)—Glove-maker Tradex International Inc. has opened a distribution center in Dry Branch, Georgia.
The 90,000-sq.-ft., 16-dock distribution center will supply Tradex's customers throughout the Southeast U.S. Service from the Sanford, Fla., warehouse will be discontinued effective June 15.
President and CEO Saji Daniel said the distribution center will optimize supply chain efficiency and improve further the firm's 98.86 percent fill rate.
Tradex also has distribution centers in California, Texas and at its corporate headquarters in Cleveland.
Tradex International's unified Ambitex brand includes a comprehensive line of disposable vinyl, latex, nitrile, and polyethylene gloves and a growing selection of work gloves, face and body protection and foodservice supplies.
