RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. (May 29, 2009)—With the upcoming grand opening of what Kumho Tire U.S.A. Inc. is billing as its first retail tire outlet in North America, the company is looking to a “new sales channel” to deliver its product to consumers.
Kumho on June 3 will hold the grand opening of its new concept Tires 4U store in Buena Park, Calif., based on similar Kumho retail centers the tire maker said are in operation in South Korea, China and Vietnam.
The new store will allow Kumho to increase its brand awareness and promote premium tire sales, the company said. Dubbing it a “franchise shop,” Kumho said Tires 4U will sell a full line of Kumho passenger, competition, light truck and SUV tires and include “state of the art” mounting, balancing and alignment services.
