HORGEN, Switzerland (May 6, 2009)—Effective immediately, or as contract terms allow, Dow Polyurethanes and its affiliates will increase prices in the Middle East, Africa and the Indian Subcontinent for its polyurethanes raw materials.
Prices for Toluene Diisocyanate will increase by $200 per metric ton and $100 per metric ton for polyols.
The company pointed to the continuing rise of feedstock and energy costs as the reason for the increase.
