CARY, N.C. (May 1, 2009)—Lord Corp. has moved into a new 11,000-sq.-ft. sales and distribution facility in Mexico.
The building is located outside Queretaro and is triple the size of its previous facility, which was located in Toluca. The new building includes 4,000 square feet of office space and 7,000 square feet of warehouse space. The firm said it can be expanded to nearly three times its current size if needed using the existing land.
The new facility will help the Lord de Mexico staff improve service and delivery times for its automotive, industrial and electronics customers in the region, according to Dave Ervin, Lord director for Mexico and Central America.
Investment in the new unit wasn't disclosed.
