AKRON (March 3, 2009)—Goodyear has named R. Scott Rogers chief marketing officer for its North American Tire consumer business unit.
In this newly created position, Rogers, 39, will oversee all advertising and marketing for the consumer tire business, including the Goodyear, Dunlop and Kelly brands.
Previously, Rogers had been senior vice president of marketing and sales for Norwegian Cruise Line in Miami since 2005. Prior to that he served in a number of positions for Procter & Gamble Co.
Rogers is a graduate of Cornell University in Ithaca, N.Y.
