HOUSTON (Dec. 23, 2008)—“Building on Our Past...Shaping a Successful Future” will be the theme of the International Institute of Synthetic Rubber Producers' 50th Annual General Meeting, May 11-14.
Mark Emkes, chairman, CEO and president of Bridgestone Americas Inc., will deliver the keynote address at the first of two speaker programs at the meeting in New York City. Also giving presentations will be Bill Hyde of CMAI, Robert Simmons of LMC, Sidhartha Sen of Nexant Consulting, Larry Sloan of the Adhesives & Sealants Council and Diaco Aviki of ExxonMobil, among others.
“We are delighted to return to New York City to celebrate our 50th AGM, as this is where it all began when IISRP was founded in 1960,” said James McGraw, IISRP managing director and CEO. “This is a major milestone for any organization and certainly one of which we are very proud.
The organization's corporate members come from 21 and produce 90 percent of the world's supply of synthetic rubber.
