WASHINGTON (Oct. 16, 2008) — National Tire Safety Week is moving from April to June, the Rubber Manufacturers Association has announced.
The next National Tire Safety Week is scheduled for June 7-13, 2009, and all future events also will be in June, the RMA said.
Held annually since 2002, National Tire Safety Week is part of the RMA's “Be Tire Smart—Play Your PART” initiative. The event spotlights proper tire inflation, tread depth and other issues connected to good tire maintenance, performance and safety.
