CHICAGO (Oct. 15, 2008) — Two dozen presenters will gather Nov. 5-7 in Chicago to help polymer company owners and managers understand and implement best-practice business strategies related to sustainability, energy management, waste reduction, green design and responsible environmental marketing.
The event — Sustain '08: A Plastics Business Summit — will focus on plastics industry examples, but will be equally relevant to a wide variety of organizations.
Presenters will include executives from brand owners American Honda Motor Co. Inc., Coca-Cola Co., GE Healthcare, Herman Miller Inc. and Nestle Waters North America, plus recyclers Maine Plastics Inc. and MBA Polymers Inc., container maker Berry Plastics Corp., resin suppliers DuPont Co. and LyondellBasell Industries, and auxiliary equipment maker Frigel North America Inc.
Keynote speaker Andrew Winston, co-author of the best-selling book "Green to Gold," is among several leading green business consultants who will address the event, which also includes an optional, Nov. 5 energy management workshop designed to help attendees slash their energy bills by better understanding how to measure and manage their energy consumption.
