QUINCY, Ill. (Oct. 10, 2008) — Titan International Inc. extended Chairman and CEO Maurice Taylor Jr.'s contract for two years to 2012 and announced other personnel changes.
Ernest Rodia will retire as Titan's chief operating officer on Oct. 31. He came to Titan in 2005 after a 37-year career with Goodyear, where he had retired as vice president of global engineering and manufacturing technology.
Titan also promoted Thomas DeNoi to vice president of quality. He will be responsible for developing quality wheel and tire systems for Titan's facilities.
DeNoi joined Titan as operations manager of the Bryan, Ohio, off-the-road tire plant in 2006 from Continental Tire North America Inc. Replacing him as operations manager in Bryan is Tom Jagielski, formerly curing production manager for the facility.
Two other executives—Kent Hackamack, vice president of finance and treasurer, and Cheri Holley, vice president and chief general counsel—also received contract extensions from the board of directors through 2013.
