LIVONIA, Mich. (Sept. 29, 2008) – “Neat New Technical Developments of Interest to the Rubber Industry” is the theme of the Oct. 22 meeting of the Detroit Rubber Group, in Livonia, outside Detroit.
The eight-paper program will take place at the Vista-Tech Center of Schoolcraft College. Presentations planned for the afternoon event will include an update development of an alternative call-out system to SAE J200 for specifying rubber parts, shape and 3D waviness in sealing applications, process aids for non-polar elastomers and advances in fluorosilicone elastomers.
Among the other presentations planned is one on the benefits of ACS Rubber Division membership also is planned.
