MARL, Germany (Aug. 5, 2008) – PolymerLatex GmbH & Co. K.G. is increasing prices for its NBR lattices worldwide by 15 percent, effective Sept. 1.
The previously imposed surcharge of $100 per wet metric ton remains unchanged, the company said.
PolymerLatex said it is operating all NBR plants at maximum rates. However, the turmoil in the butadiene supply chain is shifting the worldwide NBR demand to a limited number of suppliers, suffering from poor margins, it said.
