CHARLOTTE, N.C. (July 30, 2008) — Continental Tire North America Inc. said it will raise tire prices up to 8 percent for the Canadian market, effective Oct. 1.
The increase, which will affect all Continental, General and proprietary brand passenger and light truck tires, will vary by market, line and tire size.
Earlier, the company boosted prices up to 8 percent on the same lines sold in the U.S., also effective Oct. 1.
