CHARLOTTE, N.C. (July 29, 2008) — Continental Tire North America Inc. will hike prices up to 8 percent on all Continental, General and other proprietary brand tires in the U.S. on Oct. 1, effective Oct. 1.
Conti said it will raise prices on passenger and light truck tires, and the increases will vary according to market line and/or tire size. On June 1 the company boosted prices on auto and LT tires in the U.S. and Canada by 9 percent.
