LUDWIGSHAFEN, Germany (July 7, 2008) — BASF S.E. subsidiary Elastogran GmbH plans to build two system houses near Posnan, Poland, and Bratislava, Slovakia.
The sites will include production, sales and development units to "provide fast and competent service to customers," the company said.
BASF will begin operations at the Bratislava plant in 2009 while the system house in Posnan will be commissioned in 2010, the company said.
Jacques Delmoitiez, president BASF polyurethanes said the investments will assure the firm's leading position in polyurethanes.
