PALMYRA, N.Y. (June 18, 2008) — Garlock Sealing Technologies L.L.C. has formed a unit to connect Garlock's engineering, product development, customer support, sales and marketing departments.
The new unit will help share the company's knowledge base across the departments and provide Garlock customers with technical support, training, failure analysis and recommendations for products.
Matt Tones, who will head up the unit, said it will support product managers and expose them to the firm's complete line of offerings. This approach, he said, is designed to promote cross-training and provide global customers with the optimal sealing solutions for their specific application requirements.
