AKRON (June 10, 2008) — Goodyear said it will boost prices on some of its Steelmark and Remington commercial tires by as much as 10 percent on July 1.
The increase follows a recently announced 9-percent hike on its Dunlop and Kelley commercial brands in North America. The company again blamed raw material, energy and transportation costs for its action.
Goodyear last increased commercial tire prices up to 7 percent on April 1.
