DETROIT (May 30, 2008) — William Kozyra is leaving his role as North American CEO of Continental A.G. to become CEO at TI Automotive, effective June 1.
Samir Salman, head of Continental's chassis and safety division, will become North American CEO. Jeff Klei, Continental's account manager for General Motors Corp., will become president for North America.
Kozyra has been a deputy member of the executive board of Continental for the North American Free Trade Agreement region since February 2006. He was responsible for the North American integration of two companies acquired by Continental: Motorola Automotive and Siemens VDO.
For 10 years, Kozyra was CEO of Continental Teves North America, as it was formerly known.
