MARICOPA, Ariz. (April 7, 2008) — Yulex Corp. has hired Lauren Johnson as an agricultural research director and Jim Mitchell as senior director of technology development to create bio-based industrial products from guayule.
Johnson joins the firm from Cal/West Seeds in Woodland, Calif., where she worked for the past 15 years. She will lead the firm's guayule breeding efforts.
Mitchell previously was a chief marketing and business officer for a Xerox Corp. spinoff. He will determine market viability of new technologies and products.
