NOVI, Mich. (Feb. 11, 2008) — Cooper-Standard Automotive Inc. is expanding the responsibilities of Edward Hasler, president and chief operating officer, to include overseeing the company's human resource and information technology functions.
Chairman and CEO Jim McElya said Hasler's new responsibilities will enable him to further evolve Cooper-Standard's Operational Excellence initiatives and strengthen the company's global leadership position.
Hasler and his team oversee 78 facilities in 17 countries, with more than 19,000 employees.
