AJAX, Ontario (March 10, 2008) — Environmental Waste International Inc. said it has agreed to form a number of joint venture companies with the exclusive rights to its reverse polymerization technology.
The deal between the Canadian firm and Israeli company TRD Instum Ltd. includes the establishment of the JVs in Israel and certain European countries, EWI said. The companies expect to sign a final agreement before the end of May.
TRD Instum will buy an EWI machine that reduces tires to carbon black, oil, steel and non-condensable gases, EWI said. The Israeli company is to set up the machine as a showpiece for the marketing system with Europe.
The companies didn't disclose what European countries are covered by the agreement.
