BEACHWOOD, Ohio (Feb. 14, 2008) — BASF Construction Chemicals has raised capacity by 25 percent at its polyurethane sealants and adhesives production facility in Brighton, Colo.
The company completed a one-year, multimillion-dollar expansion of capacity at the site.
John Salvatore, CEO of BASF Construction Chemicals North America, said it is essential the firm continue to invest in technology and the necessary manufacturing and packaging equipment to keep it in a leadership position.
Salvatore said that having BASF as its parent company gives Construction Chemicals the strength, financial resources and long-term vision to continue to invest in all areas, including manufacturing, technology and attractive market opportunities.
BASF Construction Chemicals markets PU construction sealants, coatings, and adhesives under the Sonneborn and Chemrex brand names in both North and South America, and around the world.
