SAN DIEGO, Calif. (Feb. 14, 2008) — The Rubber Manufacturers Association said the dates for the second annual "Scrap-to-Profit—Using Ground Rubber in Rubber and Plastic Products" seminar have changed to May 6-7.
The date was changed to add a workshop to the program and to accommodate Mexican attendees of International Tire Conference, which begins the day before, the RMA said.
The added workshop provides training in reference to key selling points for the green building market and for government sectors, and costs $60, according to the association.
The RMA is sponsoring the seminar in conjunction with the Asphalt Rubber Technology Service at Clemson University and the California Integrated Waste Management Board. Registration for the Scrap-to-Profit seminar is available at www.scraptoprofit.com.
