MARICOPA, Ariz. (Feb. 6, 2008) — Yulex Corp., who specializes in commercializing hypoallergenic rubber latex from the desert shrub guayule, has hired two new executives.
Lauren Johnson, a former research official at Cal/West Seeds in Woodville, Calif., has become Yulex's agricultural research director, responsible for developing new guayule breeding programs.
Jim Mitchell, former chief marketing and business officer for a spinoff company of Xerox Corp., is Yulex's new senior director of technology development, responsible for determining the market viability of new products and commercializing Yulex's proprietary technologies.
