SAN DIEGO, Calif. (Jan. 8, 2008) — The Rubber Manufacturers Association, the California Integrated Waste Management Board and the Asphalt Rubber Technology Service at Clemson University are joining to co-sponsor the second annual "Scrap-to-Profit — Using Ground Rubber in Rubber and Plastic Products," May 8-9 in San Diego.
Among the topics to be covered at the conference will be making products from rubber-plastic compounds, international trends in ground rubber, marketing tire-derived products and addressing health impact concerns about ground rubber.
