NORTHVILLE, Mich. (Dec. 20, 2007) — Trelleborg Rubore A.B. is consolidating its North American testing and commercial operations into a new 48,414-sq.-ft. facility in Northville.
Trelleborg Rubore, which is part of Trelleborg Automotive, said the new site will house the firm's brake test laboratory — including dynamometers, presently located in Norcross, Ga. — along with a technical laboratory and commercial offices in Bloomfield Hills, Mich.
Construction of the facility began in December and should be completed in June with the relocation to the new quarters finalized after that.
"Our objective is to continue to provide exceptional service to our growing automotive customer base," said Percy Josefsson, Trelleborg Rubore managing director, said in a release. "This new state-of-the-art technical center will provide leading-edge test services and advanced solutions and will make it easier for customers to interact under one roof with our product and test experts."
