YOKOHAMA, Japan (Aug. 24) — The Automotive Systems Division of Continental A.G. has opened an engineering center in Yokohama.
The facility is part of Continental Automotive Corp., the joint venture between Conti and Japanese brake systems supplier Nisshinbo Industries Inc. The German company said the center will bring its products closer to Japanese and South Korean original equipment customers.
The 118,400-sq.-ft. center will employ 250 engineers, with additional support staff, the company said.
